Working groups

Working Groups have been established to examine specific topics, identified as potentially problematic. These expert working groups are constituted of at least 3-4 people, selected by the ENCR Steering Committee or having expressed their interest to participate.
Their task is to study the problem and make recommendations to the cancer registries.

Working Group on CNS tumours The ENCR working group, supported by the ENCR Steering Committee, proposes a new Recommendation on CNS tumours and asks the ENCR members to provide feedback until the end of June 2024.

Working Group on cancer recurrences The ENCR working group, supported by the ENCR Steering Committee, proposes a new Recommendation for recording recurrence, transformation and progression, and asks the ENCR members to provide feedback until the end of June 2024.

Working Group on Multiple Primaries Registration The new ENCR working group has been established to revise the recommendation on multiple primaries and had its first meeting in May 2024. Please contact the ENCR Secretariat to express your interest to participate.

Working Group on Survival in ECIS The new ENCR working group has been established to agree on the data standards and quality checks to be applied for publication of survival indicator in ECIS. The first meeting took place in June 2024. Please contact the ENCR Secretariat to express your interest to participate.

Working Group on Haematological malignancies The ENCR working group is currently on hold until the publication of the ICD-O-4.

Working Group on treatment data harmonisation The ENCR working group on treatment data harmonisation in European cancer registries has decided that additional work was needed in light of the comments received.
