Online workshop: ENCR Recommendations on Recording Recurrence, Progression and Transformation Episodes
The European Network of Cancer Registries (ENCR) will host an online workshop on “ENCR Recommendations on Recording Recurrence, Progression and Transformation (RPT) Episodes” on 23 October 2026, 10:00–12:30 (CET).
The workshop will present the ENCR recommendations on RPT, review findings from the CancerWatch survey on current practices in European cancer registries, and provide space for discussion of experiences and challenges in collecting RPT data. The programme will include:
- Introduction
- CancerWatch survey results on RPT
- Presentation of the ENCR recommendations
- Current practices, experiences and challenges in collecting RPT data, with presentations from selected Cancer Registries
- Practical exercises
The workshop is aimed at staff of population‑based cancer registries involved in data collection, coding and data quality activities. Practical examples and exercises will help participants prepare for implementing the RPT recommendations in their own registry workflows.
