Key facts about the program
- 3-year contract with competitive salary for Spain
- Additional allowance for research, training, travel, and family costs
- Candidates must hold a PhD
- Candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately preceding the deadline of the call
- Candidates submit an application, including a research proposal (deadline Sept 30th)
- Expected fellowship start date: April/May 2025
The position is within a multidisciplinary research group part of the Cancer Registry of Granada at the Andalusian School of Public Health, the Biomedical Research Institute ibs.GRANADA, and the CIBER of Epidemiology and Public Health (CIBERESP): https://postdoc-aristos.com/DetailGroup?Grupo=42
The researcher will be welcome with an interest in any of the following research topics:
- Diverse risk factors (lifestyle, environmental, diet…) for cancer or other chronic diseases in the context of the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition
- Socio-economic inequalities in cancer and cancer epidemiology using cancer registry data
- Another feasible topic of common interest suggested by the candidate
