The ENCR is establishing a working group regarding the use of AI in Cancer Registries (CRs). With a broad scope, the working group will not only including the use/implementation of Machine Learning for research, but touching upon the legal framework around AI, the use of Large Language Models for EHR data extraction, the implementation of AI tools in everyday CR pipelines, and finally quality control of AI tools. Given the topics, a broad array of experts from different areas of expertise are invited to participate. (e.g., legal, AI, IT and cancer experts and epidemiologists).
