Motivation for standing for election
As an ENCR steering group member I aim to:
• Contribute to standardization and harmonization of variables across cancer registries and countries.
• Work towards European solutions for federated analysis of registry data and safe data sharing.
• Increase use of population-based cancer registry data in research.
• Encourage and increase use of registry data among policy makers to form policy, to monitor trends over time, and to assess effects of cancer prevention and intervention programs.
• Foster greater collaboration between clinical registries and classical population-based registries.
• Support and improve educational workshops and webinars for registrars
• Work towards including country of birth into registries to ensure needed statistics for immigrant groups.
• Share experiences from the Nordic cancer registries

Publications: over 300 publications in PubMed in cancer epidemiology.
